Fucking stay home. A video game isn’t worth getting sick. How are people so stupid?

I've seen people driving to other towns to buy switches at walmarts, why people would risk that is beyond me at this point

Only got $150 Xbox GC for $75 and Animal Crossing for $30 and Tokyo Mirage Session for $30. Too much time waiting for Amazon. Would have grabbed a Switch Lite or New 2DS XL if I could have.

I grabbed the pokeball 2ds xl for $70

Apparently there was a temporary glitch where it was taking 50% off everything.  I saw a Reddit post about it, and a few minutes later Gamestop shut down the website.

it was live for like 40 minutes at least, ordered a $160 switch, 2 x $30 animal crossing, $300 of xbox credits for $150, a pokeball 2ds, etc

#14275245 Target Clearance Thread XXIV

Posted by Jurai on 24 March 2020 - 06:05 PM in Video Game Deals

Target stores are not answering any calls. I went to my local store to buy the PowerA switch controller that is on sale for $9.99 and it showed 2 in stock but the worker couldn't find either of them. Said the Target 15 min away had 4 in stock but when I called, a message said they aren't providing inventory and I couldn't even get through to anyone. I went home and called up the customer service number, explained my situation and the guy put my on hold while he called, after being on hold for 5 min, he comes back and tells me he called 3 different stores using their direct line and couldn't get through. He said this is the first time this has happened and the only thing I can do is drive there to see for myself.

Not sure if this is the new norm but local Targets are not answering any phone calls today.

It's almost like Target doesn't want you to come buy game controllers during a global pandemic

I'm kind of surprised there's this much demand for ps2 ports, i had no interest in the others, i think its rediculous to try to pass ps2 ports on ps4 discs

I mean, LRG has been selling PSN fodder on discs for awhile so

If you ever want proof how much LRG blows, look no further than all of these collections of games released individually at $30-40 price premiums that could have easily, and should have been, released in multi-game collection packs. Everything from Star Wars, to Jax, Samurai Showdown, to Kemco RPGs, Neo Geo games, you name it. Don't get it twisted; ALL they care about is money. Their business has nothing to do with benefiting collectors or "the physical preservation of games". The first clue was all of their crappy paper-laden collectors editions. They are taking entire catalogues of games , some of which contain a mere hundreds of megabytes of data and could easily fit onto a single disc, and splitting them out over several individual releases titles in order to profit as much as humanly possible and that's all there is to it.

People need to wisen up. Almost everyone on here has already. But I still can't believe that other people support this kind of stuff.

Could be mistaken but wasn't there a time where they claimed pricing would run based on digital pricing?

#14272056 Fallout 76, Infamous SS 9.99 used@Gamestop

inFamous SS is a fantastic game that should get more recognition. For $10, it's well worth getting.

If you enjoyed Spider Man (2018), you'll enjoy inFamous.

Honestly it is a really solid game, the dlc was great also

It sounds like there is a disc with the game, but the game wouldn't be DRM-free. Considering all the confusion following LRG's first tweet, it'd be nice if they'd respond. Even if it's just to say the discussion is ongoing. Though that should've been determined before the promo and tweet were released.

LRG doesn't respond any more

Warned and whoever made the poop game both come to mind. I don't know if they were actual scams or just wildly incompetent, but the people who lost money to these companies probably don't care about the distinction. I remember the guy behind the poop game insisted up and down that he was legit but had run out of money in like a week when no one took his company seriously. Can't remember what Warned's excuse was.

It's also disappointing to hear about SRG's customer service issues. Just need to hope I never have a problem with an order, I guess.

Poop game was legit and shipped and is one of the high dollar PS4 games on ebay now since people thought it was fake

This. On topic, brickseek finally shows a TMNT cabinet for $299 in SoCal where these things never seem to get discounted since we don’t live in the boonies in Texas or Alabama. Will pick this up tomorrow to go with the Marvel and Mk cabs I have.

Thanks for the tip, bought them all, my grandkids say thanks

Snatcher for me is Kojima's finest work, that isn't MGS1, and I've sworn off his current offerings until he revisits it, as that new delivery service game he offered looks like ass(no offense to anyone who is enjoying it). LOL Snatcher is probably my most played game that isn't a platformer like Mario, were I'll play a few times over for kicks or 100%, Snatcher I'll play once a year just to experience all it has to offer. Nothing original overall, as it borrows from many popular movies and stories, but the music is some of the best, as is the voice over work in game. I would love to see a modern day take on this, as the investigation side of things could use a major overhaul but doubtful it ever happens, but one can dream.

I lucked up in getting my copies, as I started collecting Sega CD when the next gen was on the rise, so I got Snatcher from a gaming liquidator at the time for $30 if memory serves. I got my CDX new in box in the same manner for next to nothing, as the SEGA CD bombed, and back then no one was concerned with collecting, so I got tons of stuff cheap(online shopping was in it's infancy). Now that being said, I sold my 3 copies of Snatcher over the years in the $80-$100 range(1 opened, 2 sealed), and now I see the going rate and want to slap myself. LOL

So for those referring to loosing value now if a reprint is offered, what is my argument, as I sold mine before the value was crazy, do I now deserve to complain and get more money from those who bought my copies? I get that someone who buys a game for hundreds of dollars due to scarcity may not be happy that the same game may now lose value, but that's what happens. This can often happen in the reverse, as you may buy something cheap no one wants, only to have the value climb years later, are you going to sell that game off to some for what you paid for it? Of course not, but that's pretty much the argument being made for a reprint to not be offered.

I recall Sears fire selling the CDX at one point

First time checking the Metacritic of these LRG releases?? The thing that makes me laugh the most about these guys is that they act like they are long time gamers. If they were you'd think they would know what a good game is.

They're just grabbing for money at this point
