My area isn't a hot zone by any means, we only have 14 verified cases of Covid 19, and I still got sick. I'm #15. And, about 6 of the people to get it in my town have died so far.
Yikes hope you recover ok

I'd support them more if Josh was gone, that guys a piece of shit
Could be true. Scott pilgrim is getting a Dolby theater re release this year.
It won't win back anyone. No one really left them. Despite all the bitching and whining people still buy from them. They aren't small time anymore and don't act like small time. They act like a normal business that's getting bigger which makes them less personable and more focused on money. But no one will be won back because they want to hate lrg and will find any reason they can to do so.
Their flightyness is proof of that. One minutes it hate and anger at them, then they announce one game and suddenly everyone loves them again, then they go back to hating then again.
I could've sworn there was more discussion about it in Discord, but searches didn't find anything more than Josh acknowledging it couldn't be shipped. Searching in Discord is kinda awful, but things like "Metal Slug ESRB" and "Metal Slug 3 cover" didn't return anything. Possible that I'm misremembering or possible that they really want to brush it under the rug to avoid the wrath of ESRB.
This is my only gripe with LRG games and why I'm reticent to order from them IF (and only IF) the game is going to get published and sold via retail stores anyways. With SOR4, I wanted to support them, but I'd rather get it EARLIER so I can play it (I only buy physical games).
For other smaller-run/lesser known games, I'm super grateful LRG brings those games to physical release. Will always try to support those releases.
That all said, it's unfair for LRG because games like SOR4 and Shantae probably became popular enough to get larger physical print runs BECAUSE of LRG, and its developer-friendly approach towards not demanding exclusivity. This, however, does mean LRG will sometimes get burned. Kudos to LRG, though, for honoring cancellations on SOR4. They're a solid company, and I hope they're around for a long time.
Yeah this got announced a bit ago by Microids
We in a deadzone it seems..no CEs? I have this weird surplus cash reserve..
I think there's some kinda global pandemic going on that's causing production issues on things like collectors editions, I could be wrong tho haven't checked the news in like 5 months
Weird, I rentered my e-mail details on my account with them, and got the e-mail about the second batch, but never received the first one. Oh well, thanks for responding.
tbh their email about the first batch said 'coming out in ONE HOUR' but was sent at the time when the release was actually going live, so may not have helped you anyway
I suspect this is an age gap thing. Some of us are old enough to remember when games were complete when you bought them (and tested, qc'd etc.). Those who grew up with last and current gen have always had to download and patch games. I would much rather get a game a year after release with patches and complete on disc/cart. This is my biggest gripe about LRG changes, because that was a "founding principle" to preserve complete games so you did not have to depend on digital patches.
I mean, look at Night Trap vita, not gonna be reproduced and the physical cart can't be fully completed without patches that came later
I didn't really know about the game too much. I knew the score was low but assumed it was because it was mostly a graphical update with old mechanics (which I was ok with) but some of those improvements seem like they should have been there day one. This just sounds like a bad remake. I'm gonna pass on LRG's release. I don't really like the idea of gambling on the physical copy may or may not have the update.
I could be wrong but I thought one of LRG's MOs from the start was that the physical games being produced would have all available patches in place for the sake of preserving games against digital going away
In other news, Strictly Limited is releasing Coffee Talk on PS4 and Switch
Btw anyone know if the discount you get on one game after you cancel 2 with b2g1 depends on ur reason for cancellation? I’m guessing it’s the same regardless of what the cancellation reason is but it just makes me uncomfortable seeing a high price charge for a long time until the game finally ships or arrives
Apparently there was a temporary glitch where it was taking 50% off everything. I saw a Reddit post about it, and a few minutes later Gamestop shut down the website.
it was live for like 40 minutes at least, ordered a $160 switch, 2 x $30 animal crossing, $300 of xbox credits for $150, a pokeball 2ds, etc
Target stores are not answering any calls. I went to my local store to buy the PowerA switch controller that is on sale for $9.99 and it showed 2 in stock but the worker couldn't find either of them. Said the Target 15 min away had 4 in stock but when I called, a message said they aren't providing inventory and I couldn't even get through to anyone. I went home and called up the customer service number, explained my situation and the guy put my on hold while he called, after being on hold for 5 min, he comes back and tells me he called 3 different stores using their direct line and couldn't get through. He said this is the first time this has happened and the only thing I can do is drive there to see for myself.
Not sure if this is the new norm but local Targets are not answering any phone calls today.
It's almost like Target doesn't want you to come buy game controllers during a global pandemic
