New game for Elysium. 50 points for playing, 200 for sharing on FB (set visibility to you only if you care)

http://www.itsbetter...me/safepassage/

Thanks. Added this to the op, as well as the codes that were posted since the last update. You don't evenhave to play the Elysium game btw, just hit the "Share" link at the bottom of the game window, log in to get 50 pts, and share on facebook for another 200. Easy.

#10907754 [DEAD] Today only: Select Funimation titles on sale at Amazon

Posted by ssjmichael on 15 July 2013 - 04:37 PM in Blu-ray & DVD Deals

Very good deal on Hellsing Ultimate Set 1 & 2.  Never see it go under $25.  End up bought them both for $42 - $22.XX credits = under $20 Shipped.  Possible Funimation will Re-release complete collection  without dvd combo pack in future  (maybe around October or next year) for low price

The FMA: Brotherhood Collections are not BD/DVD combo packs, just BD's.  Even if they released a complete collection, it's unlikely that it'll be less than $50 for it

Amazon's Deal of the Day is a sale on select Funimation titles. Some prices are the lowest I've ever seen them

Dragon Ball Seasons 1-4 - $11.99 each

Hellsing Ultimate: Volumes 5-8 [Blu-ray/DVD] - $21.49

#10906974 Avatar: The Last Airbender Books 1-3 [DVD] - $12.99 each at Amazon

Posted by ssjmichael on 15 July 2013 - 03:26 AM in Blu-ray & DVD Deals

Is there anything better than this deal to buy all three, like a collection or blu ray release coming up? I'd like to buy the three books but I don't want to find something better later.

Nope, there won't be any Blu-ray release, and no sign of any sort of complete collection set.

#10905882 Avatar: The Last Airbender Books 1-3 [DVD] - $12.99 each at Amazon

Posted by ssjmichael on 14 July 2013 - 06:23 PM in Blu-ray & DVD Deals

Amazon has Avatar: TLA Books 1-3  on DVD for just $12.99 each. This is the lowest I've seen them go personally. It's one of the best animated series ever so it's well worth the $39 for the entire collection.

Book One

Book Two

Book Three

#10848667 Lethal Weapon Collection UK Edition - £14.99

I'd wait for it to get cheaper on Amazon UK

#10847083 This is the End $10 Movie Cash with select blu-ray purchases on Amazon

Weird, I'm almost positive I saw it on the list earlier when I ordered it.

#10846000 This is the End $10 Movie Cash with select blu-ray purchases on Amazon

Posted by ssjmichael on 20 June 2013 - 01:56 PM in Blu-ray & DVD Deals

Just ordered 21 jump street. I want to see This is the End, and White House Down so this seems like a no-brainer. 21 Jump Street was pretty hilarious too, though I wouldn't buy it for this price without the ticket promo. Thanks op, and others.

Edit:

Hmm, when I look at it at the final checkout page it only says this: Get a free ticket to see This is the End

Does that mean, it's not working for White House Down anymore?

#10844062 PSN Weekly Deals - 8/27: PAX Indie Sale, DJ Hero/2/GH Sale, Spelunky $11...

I really shoukd seek therapy to rid myself of trophy/achievement "hunting". It has definitely ruined some games a little for me. At the very least I need to let collectible achievements go. I wish developers would just give in game bonuses for those type of activities. I do not play SP games through twice that often so I usually go for collectibles right away and it can ruin the flow of the game.

Man my HP touchpad web os browser does not like CAG 3.0. I can barely see what I am typing.

I really don't understand the appeal of collectibles.  I'm playing Sniper Elite V2 right now and there are two different types of collectibles.  I generally only use a guide when there's no way of tracking your progress on collectibles or if they're tiny and the levels are pretty huge so I'm using a guide for these, and I hate "having" to.

I wish I didn't care about trophies either because I would have way less of a backlog but I get a huge sense of accomplishment whenever I get those platinums.

I don't get the appeal at all from trophy whoring. The whole huge sense of accomplishment thing just makes it sound like you're a failure in the real world, and you're compensating by collecting virtual trophies.  Not saying you are, just saying that's how I view you, and others like you

Wow, they got ICO/SotC? I would love that. And they're getting DMC in August too. The US is getting some great stuff too, but I can't help be a little jealous anyway

Should have created a UK account and gotten the free month from home.

Well I just found out now, so that doesn't help. I think it'll eventually be offered in the US though so I can wait.

I'm giving PS+ a 3 month trial run right now and like it so far. Question: If i download a free game from the service, and it is removed from the store for any reason, will i still be able to play it while I have the download?

Yes, you can play it as long as you're a member. I believe it'll even be on your download list still too even if it's removed from the store.

Can't believe they pulled it. Thats a really big slap in the face to those who got bricked over a mandatory update

Would you rather they left it up so that it could affect more people?

Please at least attempt to make sense....

#10732611 CAG 2.0 vs 3.0

Posted by ssjmichael on 16 June 2013 - 04:35 PM in News, Feedback & Site Assistance

These are my main beefs so far:

No Searchable topics

No  option to "Wikify" posts (i.e. have others edit the op)

The Site is slower to post messages

The forum width is too small on my monitor

The custom spoiler tags don't work properly

The  max image size per post is too short

the max post length is too short

Nested quotes are terrible

The quote box isn't defined well enough in the dark theme

The Dark theme while better, is still not to my liking. I'd rather it all black

The popup window to enter image URL's and links are too large

I'm getting this error message, when updating an archive post of mine:

CONTENT_TOO_LONG

Obviously archive posts will have a lot of info in them, so I'd appreciate if you can increasethe max length of posts. Can you also increase the max image limit too

#10732407 Is there no search within topic option
