Got my Pokemon Heartgold and Soulsilver today, and the Heartgold is real and the soulsilver is fake lol
How do you tell the difference? Does the game not run properly, or is it an appearance thing like the sticker is wrong?

I just happened to trade in my DS copies of ZX and ZX Advent into GameStop yesterday with the extra $5 credit per game bonus. I probably would've contemplated trading in my DS Zero Collection too if I had known about this. Unfortunately seeing as how Capcom never patched the input lag on the X Legacy Collections, I have my reservations about how this new collection will turn out.
What's the point of having Pro membership now? A measly 10% off used games isn't worth $15/year to me. I'm so glad I kept declining their recommendations to use my points on it now; I didn't think they would remove anything, but I also rarely do business with them to make it worth it.
I seriously hope it's just an error from the website redesign though.
Then, if you didn't actually want the game, you could have traded it back in for the full $60 (that expired yesterday, I believe) so you ended up with the full $120 when your games were really worth 100. Finally, buying and trading Mario Maker would have earned you points for each transaction, which was another added benefit for those who chose to take advantage.
Oh so it's that "full refund" program that I read about a while back. I forgot about it so this makes a lot more sense now, thanks for clarifying.
I'm sorry if this is too blunt of a question, but I don't always understand all the crazy deals you guys are seeing.
Why is the 20% extra trade credit towards SMM2 a good deal? Is the value good if I have a large amount of games to trade? I only have around five games at most that I am willing to part with, and most of them aren't worth much at all.
Man, have a large backlog. Any recommendations? Already got the last guardian. Already have uncharted series and last of us on ps3. Is it worth the upgrade?
If you actually want to experience them properly, get them on PS4. Better graphics + 60 FPS option is a no brainer.
Uncharted 2 and 3 remasters don't have multiplayer modes, but that doesn't matter since the PS3 versions are being shut down soon anyway.
but surely he must have broken some rule for the mods to step in.
Just because a mod does something doesn't mean it was right. It's not like we have much say for any actions they decide to take. I didn't even particularly like the guy myself.
Someone mentioned that he was using straw man arguments and wouldn't listen to reason. Banning him for clogging up multiple threads and not discussing deals is the best assumption I can come up with.
What did that guy say that warranted a ban? Because hes annoying and you don't like him you reported him?
He had his own opinions that didn't play well with the majority of people here, so it was deemed as actively trolling. Whether he was objectively wrong or not shouldn't have played any part in his account status. It's not like he was harassing the others, simply replying in a way that didn't just constantly agree with everything around here.
I passed on the very reasonable price of $4 for Mary Skelter on PSN over a month ago, and I am kind of annoyed right now. Censorship sucks and all, but I'd rather have 95% of a game than no game at all since I don't own a Switch. I seriously hope they will release a PC version because I'm not going to buy more hardware for a game that's already on PS4.
More like who gives a crap about MonHun v.Casual? The series died after MHGU.
I see where you're coming from, how systems seem dumbed down or there's less monsters overall. Then I look at the amazing quality of life changes and how it has the best graphics and performance by far, all on the big three modern systems. You do you and live in your world, and I'll live in mine where I don't have to look up what MHGU stands for.
Ebay's full of shit. The coupon page said it would expire at 11:59 PM Pacific, but I learned the hard way they decided to shut it off an hour early. I was browsing for usb 3.0 extension cables and couldn't make up my mind
