It appears the online code is for the same dates as the contest.

I can mail away for 33 codes or purchase $5 boxes for codes....but I can only use one of these per day and it costs me money.

OR

I can obtain an online code that is valid for ALL days (once per day), spending no money.

I'm not sure why, other than for kindness or a legal purpose, they would set it up this way.

You can only claim your online code starting Oct 29 whereas the Taco/mail-in codes start Sept 26.

Considering they'll be picking a winner about every 15 minutes throughout the contest you're going to want to get your entries in early.

Where the heck do you get postcards these days? :-k

I'm having trouble finding postcards in 3.5" x 5" format online. How strict do you think they'll be on dimensions? Most postcards are 4" x 6".

So basically you would be sending in one postcard daily until October 28th?

O........M.......G

Not really a deal though is it ?

Yeah, it's not a deal.  I'm surprised it hasn't been moved already.  It belongs in the "Contests" thread.

If you have digestive issues, just pick up some Chipotle-away!  It should do the trick!

So I take it we should mail postcards in today/tomorrow that way they have plenty of time to reach them.  Then we wait to get our 33 codes that we can only enter one at a time, one per day?

Heck, I'm game.  Won't take much effort and who knows? Maybe I'll snag a PS4!

@broly the postcards themselves don't count as entries; each one will get a code emailed to you, but regardless of entry type, you may only enter once per day.

Doubt I can get lucky and win a Wii U (won from Burger King) and then a PS4 back to back but I'll be giving it a try.

Do they have to be postmarked after the contest starts or just arrive then?

It doesn't matter, just has to be before Oct 28.

people sending in post cards are stupid, the cost of the stamp costs more than the odds of winning.

buying a lottery ticket would be better use of your money.

I was one of the people who got screwed in the Vita promotion they had. We had a FB group, I uploaded a song I wrote about it, and some of the people went on television to talk about it. I emailed many publications and news stations, it was a huge hassle, but in the end most of us ended up getting the prize. So, of course I am leery of their contests, especially if this one is contracted out to the same people they used before, they were incredibly unprofessional.

I don't get the decision to not have a GameCube disc reader on the system. Is it just to resell GCN games as eShop downloads later? Is it to keep the cost down? I can't imagine adding GameCube BC would cost a lot of money.

It beats spending $5 at Taco Bell for one entry.

I think I'll enter and I'll do walkthroughs if I win.

Me? Doing walkthroughs? Yes.

I'm on a diet, so I'm not going to be hitting this up regular. But I do have a buddy who likes Taco Bell. I might pick up one of these boxes the next time we hang out together. I'm just not going to go out of my way to try and snag this particular golden ticket.

I'll probably give this a shot. I won a BK Wii U on my first try with a free code. Hopefully the same will happen with this.

I'll gladly risk .35 (or whatever a stamp currently is) for a chance to get a free PS4. I never thought I had a chance to win a Wii U either until I won and still wasn't convinced till it showed up in the mail!

My last big game 'wins' were from the subway uncharted contest. I won every normal prize for that one. CE and SE of the game and all the dlc and max amazon gcs.  I entered the BK one every day and never won anything.

You guys may be able to send in note cards as post cards form the dollar store. It should be $1 for a pack of 100.

Stamps are at $0.46 and I believe you will only be allowed 33 entries if you do the mail-in method. So you'll be spending $15.18 on stamps, but hey it beats spending $5 at taco bell for a code.

I would also like to know this. But I doubt they'll be paying someone to measure the postcards.

Mass-mailing postcards to Taco Bell to try and win a PS4... I think this is one of those things you need to describe to yourself out-loud for clarity.

Sad to see Taco Bell siding with Sony this time. For some reason one of my most vivid gaming memories were all the "every 10 minutes" ads from 2001 where they gave a ton of Xbox 1s away with that cool Shadowy Men On a Shadowy Planet song in the background.
