Can I still apply for this if I already have a capitol one credit card?

Approved for $3,000. Do I have to do anything with my Sony Rewards account to get the promo or just get card and make a purchase?

Yes you have to sign up at Sony rewards and register you're card when you receive it.

You will probably get denied.

I don't think this is true - I already have one, and I was instantly approved for this.

Granted I've never missed a payment, have good credit, gainful employment, and a decent amount of savings.

I guess I will try my luck, I just hope I don't get screwed down the road through hidden fees.

Is there a certain amount that you have to spend on PSN to get the $50 cred. And PS plus?

Hope my gf gets this soon in the mail. I've been jealous of those with PS+ for a while now, finally an excuse to get on board.

Yes, it has to be at least .01, but does not have to be spent on PSN.

Not sure about the promo, but the e-mail says I have to use the card within 90 days to get the $50 and free year of PS+.

Just got my card in the mail today, a day after I received the email saying it would take up to 7 business days. Activation was actually pretty easy as I thought for sure I would have to take to a representative but nope. I'm activated and ready to go.

Do I need a Sony card too for reward points or does the PS card have the same membership bonuses?

Got mine in today only after about 5 days! So not too bad.

I was wondering how long they usually take in sending the email to redeem the voucher + ps plus?

Got my card linked with my sony rewards, and thought it would have been quicker then what it has been.

you have to make a purchase. you might have to pay off the debt also before they issue the rewards.

I don't believe that's true. Just make a purchase and you are good to go.

Did already make a purchase, must have forgotten to put that in the post.

Not being impatient about it, well maybe a wee bit, but I did think it would come at least a short while after.

Funny I just received another letter today from Capital One. They told me that I was approved and that I should receive my card in the next 2-3 weeks.

I'll use the card to buy three months of Plus and see how long it takes before my free year offer comes. Hopefully sooner than three months.

I should have mine, but my family sucks at putting the mail where it goes.

First, how can you claim prior non-existance to devalue a movement? I am sure the civil rights movement would love that. "Well, there was no movement to free the slaves before, so why is it relavent now?"

Got mine today, went to the Sony Rewards site to link my card to my new Sony Rewards account. Looks like it's already on file there, but I'm not sure how that's possible.

Anyway, I have $5 to spent on PSN, so I'll run it on there and then make sure the points come through.

No minimum, as far as I know.

I know for sure that there was none when it was only $50 PSN (without the PS+ sub).

I made a PSN charge of about $7 using the credit card and got the $50 PSN code ... and I have not used the card since.

How long after your first purchase did it take them to send the $50 code ?

The most confusing part of this whole thing is how to link your card to your Sony Rewards account once you receive it. Here's the link for anyone else who is lost: https://www.sonyrewa...ount/sony_card/ (click the banner on the right that says "Link Card")

Although for me, it said my card was already linked. Weird.

Mine was too, glad I'm not the only one. Considering I used different email addresses for Capitol One and Sony Rewards, I have no idea how they were able to link it. Maybe name and birthdate was enough.
