Haha, wow. Handhelditems.com has this foir $4 + 2.85 shipping when you use coupon "wiicuff."

I've ordered from these guys twice in the past few weeks (they had classic controller silicon skins cheap), and they ship out pretty quickly.

I have no idea how many people feel this thing is required. I might pick one up just for fun though.

I guess no more smashed teeveez with this baby?

I enjoy the fact that it is pretty much still using the regular wristband that comes with the wiimote. Which I do believe is what "breaks" and causing teevees to break.

Talk about a niche product.

the new straps haven't been breaking, and I think this is a strap that comes with the product, I don't know if it will break or not, there is nothing on the nintendo strap to keep it on your wrist securely, so this in not a bad idea, but I dont think I want to buy four of them at that cost. Just my 2 cents

I have never used the straps and haven't had any problems at all except I almost really dropped it in the warioware minigame that tells you to drop it haha

^^I thought you were supposed to drop it...

But anyways, I like both of these bullet points on that product page:

Retractable can extend to 13inches
Wii not included (REALLY!?!?...I THOUGHT IT WAS!!!11!!)

Hey.

When are put that close together, it's practically a given that the first implies the second!

The fact that it's retractable is kind of cool, but a foot might be a bit long. With how close my friends get to the TV while Wii Bowling, It would probably cause more of a false sense of security before the inevitable.

Attach to your Wii remote control and cuff it to your wriste. Cuff the Wii remote control to your wrist with wriste band.

The Wiimote is on a string and attached to the cuff, so there's no worry if you don't catch the Wiimote on the cuff. And cleanup is as easy as retracting the Wiimote on the cuff. So why spend another day not using a Wiimote on a cuff and start using a Wiimote on a cuff?

You are actually supposed to drop it. You are, however, also supposed to wear the wrist strap.

Ok good, because I started to feel like an idiot for a minute there because I actually dropped it. (I was wearing the wrist strap by the way, so I guess I did it right)

you can wear one of those on each wrist and swing em around when you play God of War Wii.
