Ummm I like my PSP and I'm running an OE firmware but the only reason for that is to play other region UMD's (and I only have 2). This is tempting if it could really take a slice out of the cost of a slim.

If anything, things like the edge card would probably only give you the extra on the base price and not on the coupon bonus.

ah okay. i won my psp in an arcade machine after forking out 20 bucks total. i'm always for new technology, but i think i'll hold onto this. is it that much different other than being slim and offering a way to plug into your tv? oh and the color...

The Star Wars bundle doesn't come with a memory stick unless something has changed since it was first announced (no mention of a memory stick on Amazon either). It's just the white system w/Darth Vader on it and the upcoming SW Battlefront game.

As many of you know, black ops 2 is plaid with bugs, lag etc which many people have been suffering including me.

Hey was that the block stacker game or the spinning wheel of +/- numbers to level 5? Or another type of super prize game?

for the 'trade in ds phat for ds lite' i think its a bonus of 20 so its probably the same thing for psp, but i'd wait just in case

I'm with monkeydeew. I have custom firmware on mine and don't use it much as-is, but if I did it right now, I'd be out almost $100, and no custom firmware at the moment.

took a dollar to play, but everytime i'd visit i'd spend a few bucks here and there. and one day i just won.

i'd say i spent about 20 bucks to get it altogether.

at one point i was gonna sell my psp, but i've learned to like it a lot. i use it for my music in my car and now that i could use the memory stick on the ps3...it just makes it that much better

Definitely not true. The Slim has double the RAM (32MB vs 64MB), TV-Out, and it's lighter/slimmer. No improvements to battery life, no second analog stick, no internal hard drive or flash memory.

supposedly the "Slim" also has a better screen along with significantly faster UMD load times. also, the new firmware (not available on current psps) allows caching
