Good thing GameFly will be offering up the game for rent. This will be like Guitar Hero 3.5 or something like that for me.

Nice. I'm personally holding out for Rock Band, then I'll buy GH3 game only. Wireless Rock Band controllers are going to be available separately right?

Yeah, but you will need an Xplorer or Les Paul to play your GHIII.

I don't think the seperate Rock Band guitars are wireless, I'm pretty sure they're still wired.

Not entirely sure though.

The puppy I have was unfortunately destroyed by a very cute component cable. I'm looking to see if someone has an extra puppy.

That seems like a big disadvantage to me, glad I went with GHIII, might pick up Rock Band game only at some point.

Rock Band has officially gone gold according to IGN.

http://xbox360.ign.c...2/832643p1.html

"The Rock Band Special Edition Bundle will be available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in North America on Nov. 20. The PlayStation 2 version will be available Dec. 18."

I will now proceed to freeze myself until the release date.

So much for the guy in the other thread who said he had a non-demo version already....
why do people have to sit there and lie like that? It just makes them look like idiots.

Whoa whoa whoa, the RB guitar doesn't work with GH? That's fucking lame. Argh, I'm so tired OF TOY GUITARS!!!

Personally I was pretty unimpressed by the RB guitar anyway. If you thought the GH guitars were flimsy, you ain't seen nothin' yet. Try not to breath on the thing or it might break..! But yeah I've got 5 of these damn toy guitars here already....grrrrr.

i heard in teh general thread this hardware will connect with a hub.

any one know if it will be a standard usb hub, proprietary connectors, how many ports, etc.

i wonder if it will come with one hardware item if you buy them separate (next year of course)

Dunno, but my local Best Buy already has the hub out on the shelf for purchase.
