I might have to hit this up. They don't seem interested in a B2G1.

Maybe in the past but Amazon hasn't stepped up to the plate the way TRU has recently. TRU actually wants my money. Yesterday's Lightning Deals stank...stank bad, real bad.

Amazon's last few Lighting Deals for videogames (especially Wii games) have been fairly terrible. But I'd give Amazon the upper hand in normal deals still because I have to pay taxes at TRU and TRU's prices are anyways higher.

So-so deal. Not too bad. Hope I find a few clearance titles...

This would be good if there were 2 titles I wanted at the moment. Thanks for posting anyway. I can't wait for their next B2G1.

Was about to ask that myself. My store got about a dozen copies in yesterday.

sooo, this weeks sale is so successful so far, that they decided to do it again... or this weeks sale failed and they're hoping it'll work better next week? or, wait, I don't get it.

on a side note, how come you never post the dvds in the other section? (not sure if you used to but just curious)

I don't know where I'm going, but I've sure known where I've been, and the answer isn't Target either time.

Seriously though, when everybody else is also doing MSRP, it's hard to go again on your own, isn't it?

I stream on Twitch. At least two times a week. http://www.twitch.tv/jstryker416

Hm, if PC games count, this will be better than Kmart's $20-off coupon for me. A friend and I were going to buy Starcraft II and Blazblue: Continuum Shift. Total cost of buying a copy for each of us at TRU is $150. Kmart would be $160.

So.. do PC games count? Really hope so. :bouncy:

Edit: Bummer. Thanks Prim4444. I had also called and the representative said that she "doesn't think so" either heh.

They create the ads more than a week in advance, so it probably has nothing to do with the results of this week's sale...

PC games are almost always excluded from deals like this.

Do the GC deals at Target work the same way as the ones at TRU? For a $39.99 game, you'd pay $19.99 + tax for the game and pay $20 for a GC.

Have people ever gotten Best Buy to PM these in the past. I realize it's YMMV at best, just curious since I've had a BB gift card I've been waiting to use up.

I'm tempted to buy the last 2 MPTs near me, but there are no good games that I want over $40. Of course, the Target that has the LBP + DS3 combo doesn't have MPT.

My receipt shows that I got a free Gift Card, not the wonky stuff TRU does. No idea what to expect that means vis a vis return policy.

Well it should be (if you buy 2 $40 games) $30, $30, and $20 GC. That way if you return the games you don't get $80 back and get a free gift card.

But I guess somethings wrong with Targets computers.

From an employee's perspective, I feel the sale has been pretty successful. I'm surprised there is no StarCraft 2 promotion though.

MY receipt shows

PSN $50 Card (activated)
4000 Xbobx Live points (activated)
Gift Card $20

total $119.99

edit: i've never been able to get discount on PSN gift cards until this so I took advantage.

Package discount $20

Total $99.99

Then states to obtain a full refund the entire package must be returned.

It's possible that yours looks that way because you bought the points cards.

When I got the GC with two games, they prorate the games and tell you that you only get a certain amount if you return that game by itself.

I'm 100% shocked that books still exist in today's day and age. I thought they'd be out by now. They make up like 1% of today's entertainment and unless you're 60 or older, stray away from books and start emersing yourself with real entertainment.

Target has sucked for a while now. I can't remember the last game I bought from them, and that plastic zoo/ maze for their game department blows.
