The only one that stuck out was Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper (XB360) for $12.99 + $3 shipping.

Tempting, but this does seem like the kind of niche game that will be on clearance for about $10 soon.

Having played and completed this game, I wouldn't suggest buying it at all.

For what reasons? The reviews were mixed but there are several positive ones.

You'll spend the first couple hours running around trying to find all the locations, since there's practically no way to know where you're going for sure. Once you discover each one, you can warp to it. Some of the puzzles are pretty ridiculous. You do a LOT of backtracking. I had to use an FAQ for some parts of the game (where to go, what to do). It is a relatively easy 1000 gamer score though, especially with an FAQ. I'd say this is worth it if you have no games on your backlog, otherwise, I'd wait for ~$10.
