Vietnam's an in-game code so it'll work for both, but no, the full game won't register on Steam.

This game doesn't incorporate Steam in any way, so outside of not being in your steam Library, there isn't any great benefit to buying it through Steam. Anyway, this game is amazing and at $8 it's an absolute steal, even with BF3 coming out in about 4 months.

Probably gonna have to buy it again for this price.

How's the single player campaign?

For someone who doesn't usually play the multiplayer aspects, is the single player campaign worth this price?

TIA

So, does this register on EA Origin?

[Side note - I already got Bad Company 2 a while back from EA Origin, back when it was EADM]

SP is awesome.
It was worth the $12 or so I got it for, some time ago.

BTW - I should note, the MP is really good.

Agree with above. The single player's really good, not COD4 good, but good. THe MP is really excellent. it plays quite a bit differently than COD4 et al. lots more to do outside of killing mans.

The singleplayer is solid and well-paced, but this game's multiplayer stands as the best FPS multiplayer component I've played in any game, ever.

If you are even mildly interested in FPS multiplay, buy this game.

the campaign is very good, but be aware that it's <6 hours long.

Vietnam can be used with Steam by the way...
(You register the Vietnam key in game, not in Steam program)
