I just noticed that both Marvel versus Capcom 2 for the PS2 and Xbox are available used for $59.99. This price may suck, but considering these games go for way over that on eBay, it may be worth picking up 2 for $60 total and selling one of them for $75 or more to cover the second.

MvC2 and Shadow of the Colossus for $70. Hmm... tempting, but knowing it will be a shot disc only copy, I will pass. But somebody may go for it.

Last time this deal was on EB, I ordered Ridge Racer and Popolocrois for PSP and both came in cases with manuals, good condition. I've heard a lot of people caution them coming without cases/manuals, I guess I was lucky.

Wasnt this game $9.99 at Game Crazy (new)? I think I saw a posting somewhere in here about this game being cheap (like 1 month ago or so) on gamecrazy. I never found one in my local gamecrazy...

Exactly... they always do these when they sell out of the good games. Probably to empty out the crappy games.

I totally agree! GS/EB totally suck bigtime now! When you can buy brand new games from stores like CC and Amazon.com cheaper than their incomplete, used crap, it's time for we gamers to quit turning over our hard earned bucks for their garbage. Not to mention the fact they give you an opened game passing it off as brand new. But I won't go there, that's a whole other thread.

Omg I thought that was just in my area! I didn't know that all gamestops are doing that. I was soo pissed when i asked for a copy of lost magic Brand new and they handed me one that was already opend and they charged me a new price for that. Pissed me off.
But yes back on topic. They've been having that stopwatch sale like 6 times already this summer, I guess they really are dumping their junk used games. Anything I want is never there, unless it's new. Besides they only have like 3 used game for Nintendo ds..

i wonder how long til GS's bad rep catches up to them. I used to buy 80% of my games from EB back in the day, now about 5% of the games I buy come from GS/EB combined.
No instructions I can at least understand, but shipping discs w/o ANY DVD CASE AT ALL is just absurd.

I stopped shopping at GS months ago. I had pre-ordered a bunch of RPG's and paid for them . I had bought an Xbox 360. I only bought the core system. Shortly after getting the 360, i found the hard drive cheap at EB. I went into the store and wanted to cancel my pre-orders to buy the hard drive. They gave me a song and a dance about how one of their registers were down and that it would take them longer to do the transaction if they could do it at all. I didn't want to be a jerk and I decided to be patient. It took them an hour and a half to take care of me and that was after I raised my voice to them. They were whining about how they only had one register to work with. They were still taking trade in's, reserves on games that weren't coming out til nov 2006, peddling the used games like a used car salesman, but still had me wait 90 minutes to take of my transaction . I will never shop there again.

This hapens every single time its a scam there trying to clear out the crapy games nobody wants and they do that by letting u think ur getting such a great deal you will take a crappy game thats basicly worthless to them.
Quit over supporting eb/gamestop seriously .
I avoid them completely now even there latest trade in deal only use them if im exploiting a trade deal even then im stuck with credit at a store that has higher prices than elsewhere probly not worth my time at all.

this is very much ymmv. but i've been buying metal gear 2 substance & star wars jedi knight and returning the star wars jedi knight for a refund. I have had a 66.6 % sucess ratio on the returns (4/6).
