So today at EB while trading in games and looking for God Hand, I noticed that the Pre-Owned version is $17.99. I checked out the new copy and it was $19.99 therefore I bought it.

Good price, but I hate the PSP version due to the poor control. I gave up after the second stage.

how is this game? I love the control of the 1st ps2 one.
I don't think i'd enjoy using the right buttons and not another stick...
and i kind of dislike the analog stick on the psp to begin with.
anyone's thoughts on the psp katamari?

I think it's worse than the original, but still a good game. They sort of cheat more on how the levels are structured-they're probably limited by the PSP's (current) lower clock speed.
On top of that, yeah, the controls are worse. It's never as good as dual analog sticks, but I got used to it after a while. It's definitely good.

Give it some more time. It's a lot worse using digital instead of analog controls, but you sort of get used to it. I had a period early on I almost gave up, but kept going and enjoyed it.
I hope Namco makes one for the next gen platforms, as I'd love to see what they can do if they don't have to "cheat" as much with levels-like if you could start out super small, and just seamlessly keep getting larger and larger, that would be awesome.
