The only game I regret selling is BG1 (the first edition). Dat box, CD sleeve and map were GREAT.

Do you mean the folding case w/ the 6 CD slots?

In other news.. I finished Metal Gear Solid: Revengance a little while ago and I'm not sure how I feel about it.

On one hand the gameplay was fun and the enemy designs interesting and well-done.

On the other hand: My earlier complaint about the the way-too-frequent-cut-scenes never really stopped and I thought 90% of the writing was pretentious and filled with bad-anime-melodrama that I don't think even my inner 13 year old would have liked or thought was cool.

Not really a

Spoiler

Anyway, I can't say I recommend it, nor can I say it was bad.... if you're going to play it and you think the first few cutscenes are as ridiculous as I did - start skipping them - you'll enjoy the game more.

So, should I wait for it to be really cheap or for it to be in a Konami Humble Bundle?

So what I just read is buy it on steam, again

Nope. You're being too specific.

It's up to the person to decide what version's for them.

For some people - yes, they're always going to go for Steam-version. Even if it's just for +1's.

For me - eh, maybe Steam; maybe not; maybe DRM-FREE. We'll see. Depends on different factors.

Examples:

I'd rather have Riddick: Dark Athena on GOG than Steam b/c of annoying DRM reasons (i.e. Tages' Online Activation + limited activations is crap).

Tages DRM is NOT in the GOG versions.

I'd rather have Deadly Premonition on Steam b/c that version's still more updated on Steam than on GOG.

In some instances, I'll buy from a place like Humble Bundle to get a game both DRM-FREE + on Steam. You know, the "Best of Both Worlds" thing that I mention quite a bit.

Again - this is a game-by-game thing for me.
