Good quote from that video.
@DeformedConscience"Most LRG Collectors Editions look like a tissue box filled with a handful of trinkets from the clearance section at Dollar Tree."
Are all the books supposed to be sealed in plastic?? My NES Works 85-86 was sealed, but NES Works 87 wasn't.
Also, any word if they are doing other years?
Apparently, the Xbox version of Alan Wake II requires a download to play, completely defeating the purpose of a physical release. PS5 has the game and one of the DLC's on disc.
How long do they take to ship out after their "sales". Ordered May 28 and the status shows "Ready" for 3 games and "Shipping Now" for the other 3.
Haven't bought anything from LRG since 2020.
I only bought the Jedi Outcast\Academy set in 2020 and it took way longer to ship because of the fucking slipcase haha. Nothing this year so far. Around 8 purchases in 2019.
There have been several things in the past couple years that I'd want, but having to wait so long is the biggest reason...
My PS5 from Playstation direct is delivering tomorrow. I also ordered one with the launch invitation. There was a warning about not being able to buy if you bought one at launch but it worked anyway.
Yeah it's going for over $1000 now.
I have Burning Rangers(500+), Powerslave(300+), Guardian Heroes, Shining Wisdom(300+) and some others. Several of my PS1, Sega CD, Saturn and a handful of PS2 games going for hundreds now.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider looks the best of the 3. The story doesn't continue from Rise and there is a lot less combat overall though. Also the hub areas with side quests just bog the game down.
