Actually I believe they made it clear the new system would be region free, it was mentioned some time ago, but I am almost certain they stated clearly that they would no longer be region locking.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster has been released on Steam going price of 29.99 with 20% off making it 23.99 til May 19th.

Nintendo can continue to censor for all I care, I lost my love for nintendo ages ago, and for games I want I just go the import route. Still doesn't mean I am not upset but sadly it seems like corporations like nintendo are just censoring to appeal to a wider audience to sell more copies...

      Oh I can agree with on that, shoddy ports irk me like no other, had to go through hell and back again to get Final Fantasy Type 0 to work with my pc controller (seeing as I do not like xbox controllers nor have one in my place) and still to this day you can only change the the resolution...

From the reviews I have read so far on steam it looks like Final Fantasy IX is certainly a good port even if it originally was taken from the mobile port it looks to have been adapted from what people are say and looks great, but take that with a grain of salt I suppose. Still if the reviews...
