Both of those articles have a lot of speculation and little fact. But the Bloomberg article is at least interesting to hear a little more of the reasoning behind the studio closings. Everything else isn’t surprising to hear MS “considering”.

While it’s not for me, Sea of Thieves is pretty big and is lighting up the charts on PS5 too.

Know not everyone is a fan of Phil Spencer but I wouldn’t be surprised if the next shoe to drop is him leaving. I honestly don’t think this is what he envisioned for Xbox but don’t think he’s pulling the strings anymore.

Out of all the news to come out of Xbox in the last year, this is the worst of all of it. Talented studios. Sad.

Ditto. It probably also just comes down to taste because the value is absolutely there if you like what they’re serving. Still getting bigger Day One games like The Show 24, Persona 3 Reload and Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes just to name a few this year so far. And lots of fantastic Day One...

My thing is that I always thought it looked like something that should be $30 to begin with.

Apparently this time is limited to a specific selection of games like Mario Kart, Tears of the Kingdom, Mario Wonder, Super Mario RPG and a few others. Valid in Staples™ U.S. stores only on Nintendo Switch™ games (SKU's 24493041, 24493042, 24520303, 24520305, 24579796, 24579813, 24579814...

That is a pretty sad list. Let’s hope the second half of the month makes up for it. Maybe Little Kitty, Big City will be a highlight.

A puzzle/adventure/side-scroller based on Chinese mythology, The Rewinder, was dropped on GamePass during the presentation. Not a big game but it’s got 96% out of almost 6,000 ratings on Steam.

Same deal on the 10 pack on iTunes and you’ll also get the 4K versions if they’re available and they’ll port. (Plus get free 4K upgrades in the future. Though those will stay in iTunes).

Yeah, forgot about Fighterz. Kakarot also was pretty good.

I’m not really an anime guy but will say that I thought One Piece Odyssey was a good game.

Honestly thought the demo for Sand Land sucked. Boring combat and bland world. But maybe the demo didn’t do it justice.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes reviews are out. 76 on OpenCritic, but would probably be 80ish if it weren’t for some Switch reviews that roundly trashed it for horrible performance. Sounds like it’s exactly what everyone expected, a Suikoden game in all but name, warts and all. Still looking...
