Most of the JRPGs going on sale today didn't get physical releases. The Atelier games are cheaper than they've ever been and rarely go on sale. SAO's never been cheaper either. The only physical game you can get through backerkit is chiruchiru, unfortunately.

Yes. Ebay is pretty much the worst site to buy figures. Check out import shops like amiami, nippon yasan and hobbylink japan. If you're in the states and dead set against importing there's some decent options like kirin hobby, animate usa and anime island.

It's a 3ds game, so of course they're limited by the hardware. I'm sure the final product displayed at the proper resolution will look better than a blown up youtube video though.

I'm very optimistic about the vita's future. So long as nobody gets cfw up off the ground I suspect the vita will be the niche game machine for years to come. On another note, I finally got my copy of the ef limited edition. The art book is really quite nice.
