I've gone as far as to take a "course" for the Collector's Edition (Microsoft and Sony offer retail employees incentives to take quizzes on games coming out). But I still haven't read anything official about any extra mission or character. There was a mix-up about a DLC called "From Ashes" or...
Does anyone use a trackball anymore? If you don't know what it is, it's basically the rubber ball inside of a mouse, but placed on top. So you roll the ball around and click using the buttons on the side of the mouse. I miss trackballs.
Wow, I must be really old if there are people on here who are afraid of CRTs! Radiation risk? I must have a dozen brain tumors from when I'd watch Star Trek: TNG right in front of the TV when I was a kid.
I preordered the CE, but I'm thinking of switching over to the standard. The robotic dog looks dumb in my opinion. Not cute or endearing at all, and almost looks like half its head was sawed off so you can see inside it. Lithographs are always worthless, a fabric patch is a throw-away, the art...
Um, my comment has very little to do with Ayn Rand. I only tagged that on at the end to lengthen my original post. I couldn't care less about her or her shitty philosophy. I played the game at small increments and was stating that I didn't follow my character's journey through the game, or why I...
This is what I got out of Bioshock's story: A guy founded an underwater community, and then some guy tried a coup d'etat due to first guy's tyranny and increasing mental instability. Apparently this has something to do with Ayn Rand, not sure how.
Am I the only one who didn't quite follow the...
LMFAO. Yes, that would be a good pun.
This is both sad and funny at the same time. I feel sorry for the brother who died. What kind of messed up family life would you have to have had in order to eat cocaine out of your brother's ass?
This is a revival of Gizmo's legendary thread of yesteryear: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48587 .
This thread is for the hardworking workers in retail (or anywhere actually, feel free to post) who have had to deal with outright inane customers. It gets to a fever pitch...
Thanks Pitfallharry, that's exactly what I was looking for.
Dinosaurdaniel's reply was also helpful. I didn't realize what he was saying until just now, now that I've found the Stats page. Egotrip seems to be the quickest way to get to where I want to go, however.
Still no good way of finding posts. My User CP doesn't show all of my posts - only very recent subscribed ones, which seem to vanish after a day. Also clicking on my user name here isn't the best solution, because I'd have to first find one of my posts. And searching with my username seems a...
That works as an example. A very early one too, looks like the beginning of sound in movies. I think up to the early 60s I heard strange accents in movies.
Here's an example of Hepburn's mid-Atlantic accent.

Ever watch movies or TV shows from the early-to-mid part of the 20th Century, and wonder, "Did people really used to talk like that?" I've heard many accents from back then that I've never heard in real life. I know of the mid-Atlantic accent, but what about others?
