Switch games should be included but from what I've seen it's mainly older games like WarioWare and Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity. I could be misremembering it wrong but I think Link's Awakening and maybe Mario Golf came up as cheaper than MSRP when I scanned their prices but I mainly was...
Since last week I've stopped at a few more locations in the Indianapolis area.
I stopped at the Keystone Avenue location last Wednesday night but because it was past 9 p.m., no one was willing to help me in the electronics department. I went back last Saturday and was able to get Tony Hawk 1&2...
So far I've been to four in the Indianapolis, IN area. The gaming section was wiped out at the Fishers location except for a few copies of Madden and 2K for either Xbox One or Series X. I can't remember what the selection was like at the Carmel and Whitestown/Zionsville locations because it was...
This is a great deal for the pro controller and I made a terrible mistake. I saw that Amazon price matched it so instead of buying it on sight I figured I could get it from Wal-Mart. I go to one Wal-Mart and they were sold out of it.
I go over a friend's house leaving around 11 p.m. and I go...
Glad I found this if nothing else to scope out the inventory at local stores even though I prefer Dollar General. I went to look through games at one location and this kid notices I'm looking through games and proceeds to grab a stack of games starting to name them out before grabbing Madden 15...
Even though I buy retro games and have probably overpaid for games from a local shop, online shop or retro convention I just can't get that up in arms about Gamestop getting in on this. I barely shop there anyway and I doubt most of the games I'd want are in stock anyway.
Picked this up when Club Nintendo still existed. Played it once and stopped caring. But there's a lot of games I never played after getting the CN points.
The only FYE near me usually has a decent CD and vinyl collection and I've gotten lucky in not overpaying for some of the albums. Games-wise I've never paid attention to the selection other than noticing that they had Retron 5s in stock when they were hard to find. I'm a little surprised this...
I got Hyrule Warriors yesterday. The cashier price matched it initially I think but looking at the receipt I got 20% off (probably from GCU) and I had a $5 gift certificate bringing the price down to $42.99 or $45.89 after tax. Even though it's about $48 on Amazon I'm glad I was able to get it...
I remember a couple of years ago when the Skyward Sword limited edition bundle was released and it wasn't hard to find it but it's amazing how now even basic games are becoming harder to find.
Reading through the thread of seems like they're doing what they do during going out of business sales. Raise the price of the product to its MSRP price and then add a certain percentage off.
