The physical versions are cross compatible with all platforms.
I like the physical versions too. I've barely played the game. I just sit in the pre mission lobby swapping in and out weapons/ships/pilots.
Plus with digital version, you can't put Street Fighter Ken riding on Star Fox's ship next...

Loved the Variety Kit when I bought it on release, but I didn't use it much after I finished building it. I heard Vehicle Kit is more of a game, plus compatible with Mario Kart. I picked up Vehicle Kit during this sale.
My Walmart has $5 Xbox One and PS4 games. PS2, PS3, and Xbox 360 games $1. Taking a risk and getting Elex. Fallout 3 GOTY with Rage for $1 was also tempting, but already played both.
