As an update, I pre-ordered via Amazon and e-mailed them about a price match and got rejected. Thought about it for awhile, saw a few more examples of people getting it to work so I figured it wouldn't hurt to try one more time. Got a different customer service rep and had more luck...

Well, I did the same thing last night (preorder, then e-mail them about finding a lower price) and got a generic "Here's our policy, we don't price match" e-mail. Oh well. I have no problem with ordering from Toys R' Us, I was just hoping for same day delivery from Amazon.

I try to avoid letting gift cards affect my purchasing. I'm not saving any money on the thing I want to buy now, just saving a bit of future money on something I may want to purchase later.

Crap. Anyone know if you can get them to e-mail you when it comes back in stock? Didn't see anything in the price alert page. Edit: Guess it does. Set a price alert for 59.99 and it says "You will receive an email notification when this item becomes available for purchase."

How does this offer work? Does it pop up after you complete an order that includes any video game?

A good strategy, but Fable 2 seems like the kinda game you want to savor and keep around for awhile.

How fast is the turn around for used games is Gamestop? Like would I have any luck finding new games, like Dead Space, Fable 2, etc?

I was under the impression that realistic FT % didn't automatically make the free throw percentage accurate. I thought it made it so that even if you did every free throw with perfect timing, you'd still miss a realistic amount of them.
