As an update, I pre-ordered via Amazon and e-mailed them about a price match and got rejected.
Thought about it for awhile, saw a few more examples of people getting it to work so I figured it wouldn't hurt to try one more time.
Got a different customer service rep and had more luck...
Well, I did the same thing last night (preorder, then e-mail them about finding a lower price) and got a generic "Here's our policy, we don't price match" e-mail. Oh well.
I have no problem with ordering from Toys R' Us, I was just hoping for same day delivery from Amazon.
I try to avoid letting gift cards affect my purchasing. I'm not saving any money on the thing I want to buy now, just saving a bit of future money on something I may want to purchase later.
Crap. Anyone know if you can get them to e-mail you when it comes back in stock? Didn't see anything in the price alert page.
Edit: Guess it does. Set a price alert for 59.99 and it says "You will receive an email notification when this item becomes available for purchase."

I was under the impression that realistic FT % didn't automatically make the free throw percentage accurate.
I thought it made it so that even if you did every free throw with perfect timing, you'd still miss a realistic amount of them.
