Microsoft was the worst offender. Adding HDMI to a later version and screwing over the early adopters was pretty crappy.

none of the Wal-Marts in my area had any idea about the pre-order/lay-away deal. Every time I would go and ask, the lay-away people would send me to electronics and the electronics people would look for pre-order cards.
