I've played about 4 hours and I don't think the game is as awful as everyone is saying. It's biggest problem is living up to the Metroid legacy. If it was just an action game with a different title, it would be a solid purchase. It is too bad it doesn't play well when compared to the Prime...
Hey, not sure how long the deal is on, saw it this afternoon and picked up a copy in Ottawa. I know it's this price once every few months, but hopefully this helps someone out.

You did say, sorry about that. I usually assume this stuff is chain-wide. It has been hard to score a good deal lately between all the YMMV and hoarders.
The EB guys are getting better at making sure that you don't actually get deals out of these promos. Checked TIVS and saw that Wolverine and Blur were qualifiers, went in the next day and the guy told me they were both 50 cents short. Managed to trade AC: Brotherhood and DA: Origins Awakening...
Went to Zellers looking for Dead Space and Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe for PS3, found both for 360. If anyone in the Ottawa area found them at a certain Zellers or wants to part with used copies at that price (2 for $20) please PM me.
Anyone know if this is going to change up every week? I saw a display denoting this as the "Deal of the Week." If it does change every week, could be fun like back in the DOTD days.
Hey everyone,
Was in Sears St. Laurent (Ottawa) today and saw some games marked down I saw:
PS3
Warhawk $4.94
HAWX $5.94
Tekken 6 $5.94
X-Men Origins: Wolverine $9.94
360
Alpha Protocol $9.94
Checked over on RFD and this is already up. Not sure if it's country-wide or region-specific...
Definitely lame if it's over. I loved being able to pick up games that would've been lost in the shuffle to me otherwise. Nier, Blur, Singularity, I did well. Only regret not being able to get Sin and Punishment.
If Facebreaker is the deal Monday, I wonder if tomorrow is different? Here's hoping. I wish we could get the complete list, the curiosity factor is crazy.
Got Blur but missed out on Split/Second for my buddy. I was at the EB in the Rideau Centre (Ottawa) at 9:35 (mall opens at 9:30) and apparently Split/Second had sold out. I'm sure it was low stock to begin with, but I was still surprised I got beaten to the punch that early.
