The Asian Import version is the same thing as the US one, except that you would have to buy a separate charger and it comes in a bigger box. I do not know why it is worth a lot less than the US version one. 

I am still waiting for mine to get here, I will test it out soon

gamecube-wii u 3rd party adapter from mayflash is better than the original one because you can use it f or all games like mario 8 kart and stuff unlike nintendo who stupidly made it only for smash.
