They are not covered by the MS warranty!: "Microsoft Xbox 360 Premium System - 20GB Hard Drive, Wireless Controller, Component HD AV Cable, Headset, (Refurbished) Limited warranty 3 months for parts and 3 months for labor." and warranty support is from refurbisher, not MS.

Read about it in this SF Chronicle article today. Liquidation starts sometime in March. If anyone goes to check it out, let us know about inventory and any good deals! Although if it goes like the Circuit City liquidations, you'd probably save more buying before the liquidation sale starts...

Rock Band 2 SE is still at the $149.99 price -- just saw them today at the San Francisco downtown store. Lots of boxes for 360 and PS3 available. Also saw the Halo Edition of the 360 console (w/ 20GB HD) for $199.99, but don't know if that really qualifies as a deal or not ...
