Curious if anybody knows about this...I usually use Playasia.com, but the game I want that's been recently released isn't in stock and is only available for pre-order with no mention of when they'll have it in. It's not a big release, and I've had trouble with Playasia before regarding...
Yeah, I'm enjoying it though. It at least adds a bit of tension to the game, but hour+ long levels are really annoying. Hopefully I can look past that and have some fun with it, though.
So I started playing Black today, and I really like it. The checkpoint system and lack of saves is REALLY annoying though, since I don't usually have a lot of time to play games, and I think the second level took me over an hour, and I remember when I played it at a friends' house the third...
What did everybody think of Area 51? I never even knew it existed but see that it got some pretty good reviews, and I can order it online for about $15. Any opinions on that one?
Yeah I was trying to decide between Black and Killzone, and ended up ordering Black, mostly because I can find it for $15 but Killzone is at least twice that price everywhere.
Also, the people who LIKED Killzone seem few and far between. I watched some Youtube videos of it and didn't really...
I'm not sure if it's been mentioned (search isn't working for me right now for some reason), but Mercenaries is a freaking great game. Still has the best explosions I've seen in a game, better than anything I've seen on the newer consoles even. I somehow accidentally deleted a bunch of my saved...
Nice one. I was pretty miffed when I was told I couldn't open a safe until I collected all of the bottles. Maybe I'm just a lazy(ass) gamer (new idea for a website?), because really I can't even be bothered to find all of the bottles using a FAQ, but I see it as a lazy way for programmers to...
Cool, thanks for the suggestions. I actually played through and beat MGS2 when I first got my PS2 a couple of years ago. I hated the story and cutscenes, but the game itself was really fun. I got MGS3, got a broken leg (in the game, not in real life), and couldn't be assed to read the mountain...
I just got Sly Cooper 2 (never played any of them before), and I really like it. It still has some platform game staples that I hate (breaking stuff to collect coins is kinda annoying, and there is NO FUCKING WAY I'm collecting all 30 bottles in the level to unlock an ability), but it's a really...
Definitely not a bad suggestion, but I played it on the PC when it came out. Wow, I'm old  (PS- I want a smiley of this face doing the clapping motion of the guy to the right of him).
Any suggestions? I'm looking for something semi-realistic, meaning not jumping around like a goon as a Quake-like super-soldier, but moreso where you have to use cover and your environment a bit.
I have Timesplitters 2, but it's not really the game I'm looking for. I thought about Battlefield...
I think this game is going to disappoint a lot of people...old school is great, but this game just feels flat. To ignore games that came out after this (not necessarily new games...I mean like Shinobi) and not draw from them was a big mistake in my opinion.
I didn't think it was that hard...
Hey all,
I just got Guitar Hero III and am itching to play head-to-head and co-op with some friends. Anybody know what the cheapest decent guitar controller is?
I live in Japan, so some place that ships internationally is a necessity. I'm not really sure what's out there and was curious if...
Anyway, I should probably make sure this thread doesn't get derailed any further and leave the brats alone. I think a lot of people here don't realize that a video game is a piece of art just like any other piece of entertainment, and people like it for different reasons. It's an overall...
