They actually pretty good at taking retailers that had kind of worn out stores and uncompetitive clothing/grocery prices and making them competitive. Fred Meyer got a decent bit better after being acquired.

To be fair, you can usually buy SQ ENIX titles on launch day for PC for $30 as it is. Just how they price things, not that insane compared to the price any cheap gamer would have had to pay at launch.
Investors should be happy if the THQ share price is greater than zero in 6 months. It is to the point where they cannot really afford to make much of a point, since the company has debts > assets to the point where a liquidation is not really in their favor.
I recently put one of these into my PS3 (at a cost of about $70).
Load times are a bit faster than the stock (40gb in my case), and were most notable for making Tekken 6 seem more playable.
I ended up going for those two and Sly.
If going to gamestop is convenient, that is probably the deal to try for. Those HD collections are more or less bargains at $20 though, and this does not have the messiness that seems to be associated with the GS thing.
Even before the port was fixed up, it seemed to be considered the "best" version because of how much better it ends up looking on PC hardware (console slow down, lower res, and the like).
I'm sort of wanting it for wii U to make sure I have more stuff to play on that device, but that version...

I was able to get a price match on MW3, Battlefield3, SC2, and Diablo 3. It seemed like a manager override was required when the second game was put on. (Skyrim not available :cry:)
Apparently the distinction vs. the new policy that could be an issue was the lack of the being able to add items...
