Well, I got a new error that says you can't use gamestop credit to buy steam wallet cards...even though I just did earlier today. And now it's back to the general error.
Traded in some games today. Got like $54. Came home to cash it in for various credits (steam, psn, etc.). First $20 purchase went through and now it errors on every one and they tell me to contact customer care. What the hell? Is this like a temporary hold and it'll work tomorrow? Anyone have...
The simple reality is that physical gaming has a lot of problems and inconveniences too. There is no perfect solution, I can admit that digital gaming has problems. Personally I'll never trade the convenience of being able to buy a game at 11pm on a Sunday because once a year I may not be able...
Sony is currently in the video game company "winning phase." Until they do something really stupid like Microsoft did at the start of the X1 generation they're going to nickel and dime you on everything and exclusively release popular, big-budget, mass-market titles aimed at the lowest common...
Ten years ago I would've paid much more than $75 for those, but the last decade has really changed things up. I think only VI (and maybe V) are probably still worth playing in my book.
My god the points rewards on Playstation Stars are a terrible joke. 5 of them is equal to two cents, which means the 50 reward for the campaign is two dimes. The cheapest game on the list is $20, which is a 1% reward rate for a limited time campaign. Absolutely insane. Nintendo Rewards are 5x...
I made a very dumb mistake and accidentally bought a copy of:
Bravely Default II (Steam Key).
Would love to trade it for $30 PSN, Amazon, Steam Credit, Paypal, etc.
The only way DLC is worthwhile to me is when it feels like it's adding something that the main game didn't have AND the main game's gameplay formula still has more life left in it to explore.
DLC for Team Ninja's games is usually great because they add new mechanics and make old ones more...
Strangers of Paradise's Trials of the Dragon King DLC was excellent. Just finished 100%ing it. The new mechanics are fun, challenging, and make going back to the endgame again so much more interesting than it was. And the new boss fights are incredible. I think it took me like, 30 hours.
Nothing in FF14 can be completely safely skipped. There are callbacks, explanations, and lore chunks from LV 1 all the way to 90. But if you're pressed for time...
FF14's A Realm Reborn arc (1-50) introduces you to factions, lore, and characters that will be relevant throughout the entire game...
I even liked the survival horror chapter of 15, but I understand that's an unpopular opinion. My wife and brothers all liked 15 too. I think it was the americana bits, the soundtrack, etc.
I finished Left Alive. It's a weird ass game. Definitely bad. Very old school and counterintuitive. I...
