yeah, i thought of that...they had a couple of sets there though, still w/ the 20.98 tags on them...they have the old-style clearance tags on them, the small red/orange ones...the ones on the newer clearnce items, including the item i bought, were bigger, red and white...i think i might go back...

If I thought it was even remotely possible the sticker had come off of another item, I would not even consider trying to buy it, I would consider that stealing just as much as if I had moved the sticker myself...but it was pristine, and when the manager barely pried up the edge of the red...

I agree completely...I never would have let it escalate into anything resembling a "ruckus", i think the only reason i asked to speak to another manager was that the first one didn't look a day over sixteen years old, and if I was going to get shot down, I wanted it to come from a grown up. :)

Got a pair of Skull Candy Lowrider XBox360 Headphones off the clearance shelf for $15...definitely YMMV... Clearance sticker said "was $29.xx now $14.xx" but at the register they rang up as $49.xx - and when the code from the clearance tag was typed in, it didnt match the item ... a mngr was...

Remember, the Live Vision cams work on your PC too, I use mine more as a PC webcam than w/ my 360...

XBox Live 3-month Kit - $3 I got (2) with 3-month Live, 100 Live Points, Joust, and headset and (2) with 3-month Live, 400 Live Points and headset. Sticker said $29.99 but they scanned at $3. The ones with 100 Live points said the codes had to be used by 6/30/07 but they all worked fine.
