You have to "join" first, then once you're set up on the site you can enter the code and it will work. The first time I tried it it didn't work because it said it was for members only. I just hit the "Join" link at the top and signed up first, then went back to the cart and entered the code and...

I played it during a free trial and could definitely see the appeal, but I couldn't justify the monthly subscription. I felt like that would make me want to just play that and neglect other games because I was paying the monthly fee, rather than purely for fun.
