The game doesn't revolutionize the genre in any way but does offer its own twists on the genre with the switching of elements and the bow mechanics. The trailers do a good job of representing the games audio and visual designs. Kind of hard for me to compare it to the anime. I loved the OVA but...

Own it on steam and on PS4 (physical). Would recommend the game to anyone that is either a fan of Metroidvanias or a Lodoss War fan or both.
