I finally got rid of the two PS2s.
The guy at EB was nice enough to give me $50 for EACH of them.
So that $100 went towards another PS2, used.
I also got a warrenty, for the first time in my life, 'cause knowing my luck this one will break down too. I hope it doesn't, though.
I don't have to do that, I could trade both at the same store, BUT each one goes toward a different purchase.
It's trade-in value: meaning I have to use the $50 right there toward my purchase.
I have opened them. I asked the guy about the sticker being broken, he said that qualifies the system being 'broken'. The first one I tried to fix the stupid disc read errors on DVDs, then the on and off button didn't work. The second one I opened, but it broke later because I dropped it...
Called EB Games today to ask them about the broken PS2 trade-in value. But they said I could only get $50 trade-in value for one at a time.
So, I was wondering, can I trade one in for store credit, THEN use the $50 trade in value?
I REALLY am desperate to get rid of these hunks of junk and get...
