Nintendo has said that there will be as many SNES Classics on launch day as there were NES Classics sold in all of last year.  That's worth mentioning, I think, as you casually dismiss how bad they are at stocking their Classics systems.  Improvements are coming.

Well, this current system hasn't gotten one yet... I just figure it's inevitable. This is more preventative than anything else.
