I'm assuming people that bought the boxed copy of the game will still be able to use this exploit by not updating the game. Or having multiple installs and simply transferring the save file.

Sooo...I tried the exploit and couldn't get it to work. I'm just sad because I accidentally used mine at lvl 9.

Sorry if I bailed on everyone all of a sudden. Time Warner cable in my area has an "outage" with no updates on an eta.

I'm still in that same market we ended up in last night. I was testing my steam overlay earlier and joined the same server from last night (1719) and there were like 4 backpacks with m4a1's in them. I do know that I need more blood but have yet to ever actually do a blood transfusion.

I was able to get the steam overlay to work with DayZ so I should now be able to use steam chat while in game. I had to run steam as administrator and it works. I'll more than likely be available to play tonight.

I'm interested in playing. I don't have any friends that are into this and still need someone to show me the ropes a bit. My experience so far has been me spawning, finding a pistol, then seeing another player who I hope isn't going to shoot me...then I die. I did manage to loot a body last...

I played some yesterday evening and had a good time with it. Then it seemed that Steam lost it's connection...When I signed back in, I could not connect to any of the servers and it showed they were all empty. Hopefully I can play some more after work today.
