Using the CHEAPASS15 code at Direct2Drive brings the price down to $38.21 for the PC version, for those interested. And the game uses Steamworks for DRM so it should activate on Steam.

(Obligatory question) Does the retail version activate on Steam?

So what's the DRM situation on Origin? Do I have to keep the installer on my computer to play the game or can I sweep away the rubbish when the installation's done?

The middle option was the special edition in Japan that retailed for about $100, so at $60, that's a friggin' steal. The figures are about $5 in Japan, and their quality (as has been noted) is less than stellar.

Turns out it just didn't like my debit card. Which is good, because now I don't have to hunt you down.

Anyone else having issues with checkout? I'm trying to buy Killzone but when I hit "place order" on the last page it says "We had a problem with processing your order. Please contact Guest Service at [email protected] or 877-427-8464."

I'm still looking for a group to get in on. I'd start one myself, but I don't actually have checks for my checking account, so I can't verify on Paypal.
