I've been given the dreaded Saturday morning shift at my work, so haven't been yard saling in a while. Today, though, I passed by a neighbor's yard sale on the way to work and ran over (forgetting my wallet in the car, btw). I skimmed the goods for a minute and quickly spotted a CD case with...

    The Official Craigslist Finds Thread!

I used to do this all the time. It was like 2 years ago. I didn't have any means of transportation and wanted to re-sell so I'd just Paypal people through Craigslist. I probably made over 50 transactions and out of the 50, 2 people stole my money. It's not a guarantee, but a lot of people did...

Unless it's a super high-in-demand item like an iPad, no one seems to bid if there's no "chance" they'll get it at less than it's worth (they usually end up at a high price anyway..). That's why I always list my items as Buy It Now or Best Offer...

Most of the time I take around $150. I usually only end up spending around $10 of it, but I don't want to have to pass up a deal because I didn't take enough cash with me.

Mine are usually available almost immediately. Once the payment is in your account, you can buy anything from any site online that accepts Paypal. For cash, though, you'd have to transfer it to your bank account, which would take a few days. (I think there's also a way you can use your credit...

I believe it's no insertion fee for auction-style listings only, but you still have to pay $0.50 to put up a Buy It Now listing. That's probably where the confusion is coming from.

I'm guessing because that's the start of the holidays, when everyone is willing to pay top dollar for all of their crap.
