I too was working when they went on sale, and they literally sold out within a couple hours at almost every single location that had them.  I called a few gamestops and other stores, and they all told me they only recieved 2-3 LEs to sell at each location, so good luck.

The issue about PC gaming is that you need high end parts to get the most out of it. The benefit is that if you do go all crazy with high end PC parts, your can squeeze far higher detail out of most games than other systems. As for general comparisons, going by just resolution or refreshrate...

Probably best to wait for Black Friday/Cyber Monday.  I haven't seen many TVs/monitors on sale recently.
