Ehh, you wanna make sure you keep that on default [OFF]. It disables SSE; layman's: you'll run faster with SSE on.

I hope people are setting up their clients properly, and using the console version on multi-core/processor machines. A simple google brings this useful article up: http://icrontic.com/articles/foldinghome_on_multithreaded_windows_pcs GUI version doesn't work on my computer for some reason, so...

I'm in. Using the console version because I like walls of text; no idea when I'll finish, but iirc a 5mil step protein took me around 2-3 days. woot Athlon XP 2500+?
