I hate to say it, but I'm glad others on here have the same issue. They keep telling me that this is an isolated issue (with a subtext that it's my fault it isn't working). It's good to see that I'm sane and others are dealing with the same do nothing nonsense.

I think that was a fluke. Telling it to block one type of payment shouldn't allow these to come through.
