Same thing happened to me. I complained to Best Buy and they gave me a $20 gift card for my troubles. My copy was trashed though. Absolutely ridiculous that they would send it in a bubble mailer.

You can't really count those. They were 600 coins, but they were also limited to only 1,000 total medals. You are paying for rarity almost exclusively. Has nothing to do with coin amount.

Damn these things sound like they may be cursed.  I know it is only the vocal minority voicing issues, (since other peoples' are working) but it does give me pause about picking one up. Especially if it could possibly destroy my TV!

I don't mean to thread hijack, but I originally owned these and experienced the same problem with the triggers.  They are comfortable, but you REALLY have to hit them hard to ensure that the buttons register as being pressed. This is what I have ended up and it is amazing.  Really, really...

I wouldn't hold my breath. It is limited to only 5,000 copies, which is an insanely small print run. Drakengard 3, a pretty much critically panned game, was also limited to only 5,000 copies of the CE and retailed for $79.99 and is now routinely selling for $140-150 on eBay. I am not 100%...

The one I saw was in NE Florida but was a full size pink 3DS.  So I think that this is probably storewide but only on those full size boxes, which a lot of places have probably already sold out of.

Super Mario 3D Land IS one of the best games on the 3DS. Terrific use of 3D PLUS it is a fantastic platformer. Anyone who says it is too easy hasn't played through the game again after you complete it the first time in the second set of levels. I cannot recommend this game enough. Super...
