Nice. I've been to several Gamestops and none had Outrun 2006 but Outrun 2 was readily available. There's a Gamestop that will be opening up near me so let's hope they'll have it in stock. Also, there's one other Gamestop that I still want to visit so I'm hoping I can finally bring home Outrun...
Awesome list. I bought an XBox a month ago and I've already compiled a decent collection and a few are SEGA games I bought from Gamestop. I have:
Jet Set Radio Future/SEGA GT 2002
Shenmue II
Gunvalkyrie
Outrun 2
I want to buy:
Outrun 2006 (None of the Gamestop I went to had this game. I will...
It was MK: Armageddon I believe. There was also The Chronicles of Riddick for $9.99. Also, I hope you bought Burnout 3: Takedown because that game is simply awesome.
Everyone always hates on this game. I have always liked this game since I was a kid and beat it later as a teen. It's hard but not as hard as people make it out to be. You get better at it and there's plenty of points you can rack up to get lives.
CC has Fable: The Lost Chapters for XBox $4.99. If they don't have it just bring the ad and price match it at BB like I did for $4.99. BB also has Burnout 3: Takedown and other games like MK: Armageddon for $4.99. Several other games are $9.99 like Chronicles of Riddick.
Yakuza 2 is said to be a much better game and it's finally coming to the U.S. in 2008. I may just have to get a used PS2 somewhere just to play Yakuza 2.
Thanks for the insight everyone. Yeah, there's no question Gamestop employees aren't that dedicated in helping someone out. I called four Gamestops and two of them didn't give a crap about checking how many used black Gamecubes they had. The first store I called took him about 7 or so minutes...
I see. The problem is, what if there's like five or so Gamecubes that I want to inspect? Having them bring and open five boxes would seem a bit weird. I want to be assured that I am getting a used system in excellent cosmetic condition. Perhaps I should ask to see maybe three or so systems?
Yeah, I know. I just wanted the newer model because chances are it accumulated less overall hours than the first models and is most likely in better condition. Can you check the condition of the system before you buy it at Gamestop? I wish it was like Game Crazy where you could actually see the...
Do they at least let you choose which color you want? So you can't even inspect the system at the store before you buy it since it's in a sealed white box? Damn, I want a newer model Gamecube without the component port since I don't have a HD tv and I'm not willing to buy a pricey cable either...
This deal is lame as hell. Maybe if it was $185 for two new systems then that would be another story. I can get both of these systems used for even cheaper. Local shops sell XBox used for $90 and PS2 used for $80 or so.
