Well, I'll continue to buy Aniplex releases for as long as they are available, I very much appreciate them because they stick more to the Japanese format, which I much prefer. I just picked up 5 more AoA titles in the holiday sales over the past month, so I now have 102 Aniplex of America...

I just ordered the $800 Legend of the Galactic Heroes Premium box set yesterday and got no discount on that... Oh, I ordered that one from Sentai, not Rightstuf, so no GA discount.  ;)   :mrgreen:

I most definitely get my money's worth with the Got Anime membership - it's good for in-stock items and many Funimation pre-orders. I just made an order over the weekend which had 3 releases I got a membership discount on: Starblazers Space Battleship Yamato 2202 Part 2 Blu-ray/DVD - GA...

I knew the answer myself, just wasn't going to mention it out loud here and get flamed... well, maybe I wouldn't if they're too scared to confront someone, lol... 

Yeah, I always call and talk to CS directly whenever I have an issue, I never use their contact page or email or twitter. I prefer to speak with someone directly and get the issue taken care of immediately. Why sit around wait for them to take their good old time responding to a contact email?

It always takes a minimum of 10 days after order for me to get items from Sentai, even when there is no big sale going on. According to tracking, my order I placed on the 16th at 5:45 am, the first day of the sale, just shipped yesterday and is not arriving here until Monday. Sentai is 50/50...

Ordered Scum's Wish and Princess Principal for $17.99 each, and the Grimoire LE for $25.99... so all three for $65. 

My Epson 5010 3D projector in my FreyMax™ 3D Projection Theater developed an LCD panel issue, with a inch-wide vertical blue line down the middle of the screen. I had to order another 3D projector to replace it, and ended up picking up a Refurbished Epson 5030UB projector from Epson for only...

The JP releases for MiA aren't even that expensive - they come in 2 LE chipboard box sets for about $130 each - but they have no English on them at all. Still, I liked the looks of the JP sets much better, and I have no use for all the garbage extras in the Sentai PE, so I bought the JP sets...

Wow, that is so sickeningly cutesy it violently induces projectile vomiting. People can actually watch something like that? 

I received my Sentai Sale shipment today, and actually, all four anime in my order were in the box - so I don't know why their site says that the one title was shipping separately.  I also received my Avatar: The Last Air Bender Blu-ray set today from BullMoose.com. 

I got my shipping notice Friday afternoon, and my package will arrive tomorrow (Monday). One of the four items did not ship with my order though, but will be shipping separately. 

I posted that Takahata post very late, as I was surprised there wasn't anything in here about it before then, but I guess there's no Studio Ghibli fans in here... oh well.  Ironically, I had just showed two Takahata films to a crowd of friends at my Studio Ghibli Movie Marathon #6 two Sundays...
