Regarding the whammy bar: You can bend notes in RB4. It doesn't do anything yet in Fortnite Fest. The effects switch on old RB guitars changed the sound the whammy bar makes (different sustain types).

Tried that new "Rock Band" mode in Fortnite... that control scheme is awkward as hell. If they directly supported existing Rock Band instruments (with the color bars, etc) I'd be more interested. Rock Band Blitz was a better game using the standard Xbox controller.

It's not actually dead, just no longer releasing DLC. Online modes (which I don't play) will still work. I still play RB 4 fairly regularly with family friends and will continue to do so until my instruments implode.
