I had a brain fart and meant Newegg, don't know why I typed Rakuten. In fact I got an email from Newegg this morning that they have the $50 for $45 eshop codes going today.

Rakuten pretty frequently (every few weeks) has Nintendo $50 codes at $45, so that's another good source for discounts

Looks like Nintendo is really pushing supply to Walmart. That's who I was able to get my preorder with on launch night, and it was one of my easiest launch preorders ever.

That's good to hear. I'll probably get the Switch 2 cartridges for Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom then instead of just doing the upgrades.

I'm hoping to go for the Mario Kart World bundle, the two Zelda upgrades, and Cyberpunk at launch. I want to get the Gamecube controller too, but I'm going to hold off on the Pro controller for now until I hear the d-pad is better than the Switch's pro controller d-pad.

A modder found an unfinished 60 fps mode in Xenoblade X, so there's a chance that gets finished up and implemented for Switch 2.

Check to see if you have a windows update. I was getting a weird error from PC Gamepass last week on a game I’d just installed, and that’s what turned out to be the issue for me.

If you like artbooks, the Switch LE came with one, but the PS5 LE doesn't, so you might want to take that out before getting rid of the Switch set.
