Just got an automated $38 refund on my collector's edition after support refused to acknowledge the price change and that if fell under PPG. One even acted like I was looking at the wrong item. The kicker is I only requested $9 to bring it to the $94.99 sale price.
I've placed same-day prime orders Saturday afternoon, which were packed Sunday morning and delivered Sunday evening. This is in the LA area, if that makes a difference.

No problem with Steam cards on this deal, aside from someone hiding them behind some PSN cards. Guess what dude? I put them out in the open in the right spot!
They're randomly popping in and out of stock. I just grabbed one at 2:22 AM PST. Now it appears OOS again, but if you click on featured merchants you can buy from Amazon (due June 21st).
Outside of Amazon there's no such thing as a "launch edition" because that's their internal way of tracking first run unit sales. As for other stores doing this, I think that if you order in-store at Gamestop they can tell you what place you are in line at that store.
