Price sucks if you have no Fry's near you and need to buy online (unless you actually want the maraca casings). You almost may as well just pay $20 from Amazon and use free super saver shipping.
I went for this deal. I figure at worst I can sell the still shrink wrapped game to someone local. Even if they pay retail price from me they won't have to pay sales tax. *shrug*
I've had the game for over a week. I pre-ordered and Amazon got it to me the day before launch day. I just wanted...
You're probably just going to have to swallow the $70 shipping cost.
I bought a 360 Arcade console back the The Idolm@ster Live For You came out from PlayAsia. They're actually charging more than they did back then for the console, but I had to pay a lot for shipping too.
Ditto. I think the game will eventually go on the Platinum line so I'm waiting for that. Or for the upcoming PC version to go cheap, whichever happens first.
It's not online credit. It's actually a new kind of credit card. If you want to do the Buy.com deal I highly suggest you apply for the card now. The Buy.com deal doesn't end until March 21, but keep in mind you have to wait for them to snail mail your card to you.
I applied for the card because...
You can get an Xplorer (wired) for $60 new from RedOctane (redoctane.com). The advantage of that is you know it wasn't abused but I don't think it's worth $60 for a wired controller...
I'm specifically looking for one of the versions that has an HDMI port. Japan's getting the Arcade Pack and that looks like the best one, but that's not out in Japan yet.
Know of any good places to get Japanese 360s other than Play-Asia or NCSX? Any help is much appreciated. I'm in the...
I bumped it over the $10k mark with a $100 donation. Yay, $10k in less than a week! :applause:
Edit: I should have, but I guess the widget doesn't update right away? Hmm...
Uh, you guys, you can get these for 1 cent (seriously) at Circuit City. I hadn't pre-ordered but when I bought Diamond and Pearl there they asked the kid in front of me (who also bought both) if he wanted "the pens". She rang 'em up and they came up in the system as 1 cent. I asked if I could...
Look around in clearance racks. I think... oh, a year and a half ago I guess... I got a purple 1st party controller at Walmart for $5 (yes, I'm serious) on a clearance rack. The packaging was slightly dented but you could tell the controller was perfectly fine. I bought it and it works perfect...
My suggestion is to just buy it at retail and sell the remote at retail price ($40) to someone you know. They end up getting a small deal (no sales tax) and you get Wii Play for only $10. That's what I did.
