FTL is extremely addictive. I finally beat it on Easy last night after 20+ hours of game play. Used the Engi Cruiser to do it. Now, I have four ships unlocked and working on the others now. A major hint: Learn to board. Makes the last boss SO much easier.

I bought this when it was $12 on Amazon a while back... It does get monotonous after a while. The most fun I had with it was playing with friends. If you're sticking to single player, it gets boring quick. I did most of the side quests and was done in about 20 hours or so.
