I think Fallout works as a tv show for people not familar with the games. Similar to how The Last of Us did. Yeah, there's some extra context you know from playing the games (or watching youtube legend Many a True Nerd's videos), but the show fills you into the details so everybody is on board...

I'm sort of in that boat, but happy on the Xbox train. I have a rig that can play any current games at pretty high settings. But mostly have been sticking to console and smaller games (like Brotato). But I have the ability to play Starfield at over 100fps and to catch those Playstation titles...

IMO, their best move would be to get out of the hardware game. Get their X-Cloud stuff working everywhere. Pivot to an Xbox app or program on PC. Similar to Steam. Here is your library of games. They could whip up emulators in no time. Play all those old games digitally. Figure out a cheap usb...

Pretty sinister of them, lol. As for the weird Gamerscore, mine is already not a multiple of 5. So it may make mine total Gamerscore a 5 or 0, and I will not like that. Brotato definitely scratches that Vampire Survivors itch. It's a different game for sure, but they both grab me in similar ways.

I'd very much be in favor of a disc trade in system. Also, my pipedream is official Xbox emulation on the pc. Let me play those old games on my pc. Full backward compatibility from the OG Xbox to the Series generation. In my mind it would be possible, since the stuff already works on the...
